 We currently find ourselves moving through uncharted territory.  But, these days, we aren’t really moving.  Instead, we are staying in and honoring social distancing.  Nesting, going inward, resting, and leaning into the pause...

 

Alas, our bodies need movement.  Perhaps you are craving some aliveness?  

 

Exercise is medicine; exerting physical effort helps us release stress, and also boosts our immune system.  Staying indoors, should not prevent you from working out.  In this virtual workout for aliveness, The Alchemist’s Kitchen’s fitness expert John Mayers, will show you how you can move in your own home.  

 

This is a fun, creative, and exploratory workout experience.  Instead of using traditional weights, you will be encouraged to use your everyday home goods.  Get fit with books, chairs, pots, and pans! You can even use a child (or two) as a barbell. 

 

A morning Monday pick me up for ALIVENESS meant to leave you energized for the week.  This week, we offer this class as a gift to you.  Join us, get sweaty, and get those endorphins pumping!

John Mayers

Straight out of Brooklyn, and currently residing in Queens, John Mayers has been working out since 18 years old.   


Before John began his career as a fitness professional and health coach, he served as a full time Marine for four years.  As a Marine, he developed athletic techniques that have proven to be incredibly effective for optimal health, weight loss, and focus.   

 

His fitness style is targeted, precise, honest and addictive.  His coaching style is empathic and visionary.   

 

John Mayers areas of focus include: Animal Flow, Body Weight Specialist, Kettle Bell, Pre-Natal Certified, Strength and Conditioning, and Yoga,
